Stonehenge

After the first collection of poems and songs of 2011, entitled “Life in the Jungle”, Daniele Antonio Battaglia gives us a second volume where he inserts other unpublished compositions made over the years. Exceptions are "Fulgida Hysteria" already published with the anthology of the "Impronte" series in which he also participated with other compositions already published in "Life in the Jungle", and then "The Killer Sense" published in 2014, at the end of the first book of the saga of “The SharpShooter”. Of both lyrics, videos were also made and performed by the same author on behalf of the Compagnia Teatrale Fantasma. Even in “Stonehenge”, Battaglia, he ranges from romanticism, narrating love that is reciprocated and not, to the opposite feeling, hatred, which is also an integral part of human existence; all inserted in a certain mystical context that can be found in the same song that gives the title to the work.

Footprints - Vol. 65

Participation, together with other authors, in the collection Impronte 65 with 6 poems.

A stone rolled by the whims of gravity traces a furrow.
The wind that blows incessantly, shaping the dunes.
The drop of ink that impregnates the sheet.
Erosions, drags, impacts, marks, traits.
Signs imprinted by a body on other bodies, now delicate and now clear traces that cross
the contemporary, in the succession of words that becomes an image.
There is all this in the lines of "Impronte", the latest in the series of the house
Pages publisher.
Verses freed from the narrowness of a drawer or more prosaically from a folder on a pc,
that through the publication, perhaps the most professional example of "imprint",
they experience the sensibility of the reader.
